Keychron Q1 Pro QMK/VIA draadloos aangepast mechanisch toetsenbord (VS ANSI-toetsenbord)

The Q1 Pro is the second keyboard I bought from Keychron.
The basic materials are very good and she looks amazing. The only thing that is not perfect is the sound.
I think she will be perfect with a simple adaption of foam and lubed switches.
But the Q1 is the best stock keyboard I ever had.

This Keychron Q1 Pro is the first mechanical keyboard I've had in ages. Purchased the shell white with the red switches ... absolutely love this keyboard. While I have the kit to mod the keyboard, don't know that I will right away, if at all. From the time I took delivery, you could just feel the quality of the keyboard. Coming out of the box, I was surprised at how heavy the Q1 Pro was. The all aluminum construction it top notch and just puts to shame any of the keyboards that Apple builds, or any of the 3rd party keyboards I've used over the years. As a 64-year old, I've been around long enough to watch and participate in the beginning of the personal computer age back in the 70s. As someone who has a BSCS, spent the 45-years of my career using computers ... from punch cards, to 8" floppy disks, and everything else up through today ... I'll state unequivocally, that the Q Pro series is the best I've used and seen in my time with computers. Liked the Q1 Pro so much I've purchased the Q3 Pro (in green), the K13 Pro to use with my iPad Pro set-up, and have supported the Q5 Pro kickstarter campaign, so I look forward to my fourth Keychron arriving sometime in July. So all of my computer setups in the house now sport Keychron boards. Highly customizable, you can't go wrong with any of the Keychron boards ... don't think about the purchase of anyone of the Keychron keyboards, just buy it, you won't regret it. Very Highly Recommended.

This is the best stock keyboard I've ever used, it is well worth the price! Although you can't go wrong with any of the colors I'm not a huge fan of the white in person, but the banana switches are incredible and the build quality overall is top notch.

Every now and then I feel sorry that I've spent so much money on a keyboard. And then I use another cheap one or macbook m1 pro 16 and I'm starting to wonder how come we are used to that crap and I'm happy customer again.

Two bits that are moderately annoying:
- when trying to switch from wired windows to bluetooth macos (macbook pro m1) it does not connect on a first try, you need to switch to "off", then BT again, slowly
- missing right 'option' is a pain when trying to type diactrics on macos, I barely use it but still... not an issue on windows as it's using alt - if one needs it consider going for layout that includes right option

For a while I have resisted the hype of mechanical keyboards. I have got two 60% mechanical keyboards from other brands and used them for a while. But once I have got a Keychron K4, I couldn't go back. Then, I have got the Q1 Pro. Like many of us here, I can confirm it is a work of art. The quality is outstanding. And typing on it's a pleasure. I love the KSA keycaps. I have bought another set and replaced the ones on the K4 with them and took the K4 to my work office. They reminded me of the experience typing on the old IBM 3270 terminals (yeah, I have used those). Of course, I have kept the Q1 at home, to control my 3 home PCs and one Mac. Thank you for creating this amazing line of keyboards.
